This house sits on an extraordinary peninsula of land overlooking Lake Jeanette. The owner requested a design for a contemporary residence which would provide maximum exposure to the views. The linear plan allows for each room to enjoy views of the lake in multiple directions. By orienting the house parallel to the lakefront, the large windows have complete privacy from the road and driveway. Great care was taken to minimize the removal of trees and protect the delicate landscape.
